The audience is waiting for the Prithviraj starrer film Kaduva, directed by Shaji Kailas. Produced under the banner of Prithviraj Productions and Magic Frames, the film is also available in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages, in addition to Malayalam. High-level promotion is going on for the film.
On the last day, a light show for Kaduva using drones was held in the sky of Dubai. The names Kaduva, Prithviraj's Kaduvakunnil Kuruvachan, and the names of the makers appeared in the sky in the drone light show. Prithviraj said that no such promotion had taken place anywhere in the world.
"The character's face is visible in the sky, not Prithviraj's face. It was a landmark moment. I don't know if a movie has been promoted like this anywhere in the world, not Malayalam cinema or Indian cinema. I felt proud when they wrote Kaduva in Malayalam script. It is a great joy.
Full credit goes to Farz Films. Before the release of Kaduva, I went to meet them in Dubai on my way back from the shoot of Aadujeeevitham from Jordan. Golchand sir gave me three options when I said that this is a commercial mass entertainer and therefore the promotion and everything has to be done on a scale. It was shocking to hear all that. The option that seemed most unlikely to happen was done in the end.
Drone permits are incredibly complicated in the UAE. Not like in our country. Police permission is a lot of things. 250 drones were flown at the same time in such a public access area. We all work with drones in the film. Its difficulty is known. Using 250 drones, in the same manner, was amazing. I am very proud to say that it is a Malayalam film. I am very happy that it is my film;" said Prithviraj.
