A crowded November and December for Tollywood
It is always ideal for producers and distributors to release their film in December instead of Sankranti to yield profits. If the film’s release in November or December, it’ll enjoy four weeks before Sankranti and also a festival run if it’s good.
However, there is going to be a huge crowd for this year-end as Sankranti is already crowded with four films of Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Sai Dharam Tej, and Sharwanand.
Now, it is said that Naga Chaitanya’s film with Sekhar Kammula might release if they manage to wrap it up in 50 days. Akhil Akkineni is keen on releasing his film during Christmas.
Kalyanram’s Enthamachivaduevuraa might target December release if it fails to release in October. Anushka’s Silence, Samantha-Sharwanand’s 96 remake might release in December as well.
