Actor Sonu Sood has stood out as an inspiration during these tough times of the coronavirus pandemic. He has been arranging buses regularly to transfer migrant workers who got stranded in Mumbai. Right from the celebrities to the common people, everyone is lauding the efforts of Sonu Sood and calling him a real hero. The actor also revealed that a migrant mother named her son after his name. Sonu was extremely touched by this gesture.
Speaking in a recent interview with Anupama Chopra, Sonu revealed that he received a message from the migrant mother one day. She told Sonu that she is naming her son after him. Then, Sonu asked her how can she do that as their surname is Shrivastava. Then, the lady told him that she kept Sood as the middle name and the whole name as Sonu Sood Shrivastava. The Simmba actor was extremely touched by this gesture.
Sonu also shared an instance where he came across a few young migrants walking on roads towards their home in Karnataka. The actor understood their problem. He gave them strength and arranged buses for their travel. He says that he feels happy when everyone boards the buses and sings songs thanking him. Sonu feels that it is our responsibility to help the people who built our houses, malls, hospitals, and all the infrastructural facilities. Sonu also thanked the central and the state governments for helping his initiative. Sonu added that he will continue doing this work until the situation gets back to a normal state.
