Generally, the kids of actors prefer to be actors in the future. This phenomenon is widely seen in India. Due to the atmosphere thy brought up in, many star kids aspire to be actors when they get older. But Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan is in a totally different league.
The 22-year-old young lady aspired to be a filmmaker in the future and now, she is debuting into the theatre world as a director. He is directing the upcoming play, Euripide’s Medea. Ira chose this Greek tragedy to test her storytelling skills in the theatre arena.
When asked about whether she ever wanted to be an actress, Ira said no. She was always clear in mind that she wants to get into the direction. Ira also thinks that she is bad at acting. If she was so much interested in acting, she would've pursued the career in that but the star kid was more inclined towards direction and production.
Ira also said that her aspirations kept changing since her childhood. She wanted to be a painter first, then a teacher. Later, she wanted to become a football player. After that, she got an interest in photography and also bought a camera. Ira even wanted to do farming and own animal shelter. After all these aspirations, she got stuck to filmmaking.
