We all remember Vidya Balan's haunting thriller Kahaani. Released with no expectations, this gripping film remained as one of the best films of 2012. In fact, it is still considered as one of the well-made thrillers in Indian Cinema. It got helmed by Sujoy Ghosh. Whoever watched Kahaani will remember the character called Bob Biswas, the hit-man who gets killed in the train accident.
Now, a spinoff film is being made on that character and this film is also titled as Bob Biswas.
Abhishek Bachchan is playing the lead role in it while Chitrangadha Singh is essaying the female lead charter. The shoot of this film started yesterday and Abhishek took on Twitter to announce it. Sujoy Ghosh penned the story of Bob Biswas while his daughter Diya Ghosh is making her directorial debut with this film. It is being produced jointly by Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Sujoy Ghosh and Gaurav Varma under Red Chillies Entertainments and Bound Script Motion Pictures Pvt. Ltd. banners. Bob Biswas will hit the screens in the latter half of this year.
