By now, every one of us came to know how dangerous the coronavirus has become. What started as a small virus spread, has now spread all over the world. More than 25 lakh people have got infected with the virus. Everyone is confining themselves to homes in order to avoid the spread of the disease. Doctors around the globe are working 24*7 to treat the patients. Even in India, doctors are doing their best in curbing the disease. But there is a lack of PPE kits for them, which are essential while treating the patients. Actor Arjun Rampal and his family extended their support by donating PPE kits to the doctors in Mumbai.
Rampal extended his support MEDIQ LIFE SCIENCES to provide the PPE kits in collaboration with Dr. Darshan Doshi to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), hospital doctors and nurses. Arjun has also requested his followers to donate PPE kits and help the doctors who are fighting against the coronavirus.
The actor took on Instagram to inform the news. He wrote, "I request all of you to help here. The real hero’s out there, (the doctors and nurses), the PPE. Their health is in jeopardy daily, looking after ours, As unfortunately they are not equipped with the armor they need, making them sick by the coronavirus. If each one of you can donate just 1 uniform for these brave hearts, it will keep your soldiers safe and healthy. Please please be generous, they need this and we will get it to them. It’s Rs. 1200 for the best suits for them."
