Karan Singh Grover born on 23rd February 1982 in New Delhi to a Punjabi Sikh family, finished his schooling in Dammam, Saudi Arabia and then went on to pursue a degree in Hotel Management from IHM Mumbai. After obtaining his degree in hotel management he went on to work in the Sheraton Hotel in Oman.

He started his modelling career in 2004 when he participated in the Gladrags Manhunt Contest and won the award of the Most Popular Model. 2004 also saw his debut in television when he starred in Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi with Balaji Telefilm on MTV India. It was in 2007 when he became an overnight sensation when he starred in the show Dill Mill Gayye a medical drama focused on the youth. Karan went on to do a few shows till he was cast on the silver screen. In 2015 he starred in the movies in Alone and Hate Story 3 when the latter became a box-office hit and Karan received positive responses from the audience. In 2019 Karan made a comeback on television after six years with Kasautii Zindagii Kay as Mr Rishabh Bajaj this made him the highest-paid TV actor as he charged 3 lakhs per da Karan Singh Grover was married twice to actress Shraddha Nigam and Jennifer Winget before marrying Bipasha Basu on 30 April 2016.

Moving on to Karan as a person the actor is incredibly fond of sketching so much so that the media called him the next actor slash artist. The sketches made by him are being made famous by Bipasha by her sharing them on Instagram. He has several tattoos on his body and he seems to love the art of tattoos a lot. He has tattoos made not just on his biceps and torso, he even has tattoos on his wrists, which when put together the sentence is, ‘ anything but ordinary…’ where anything but is inked on one of his wrists while ordinary is inked on the other wrist.

Though known as a pretty wild part person he is seen describing himself as a cheerful person who has no problem with substances except smoking as he used to find it irritating. Karan is very much fond of basketball as opposed to the general Indian population liking cricket.

Karan Singh Grover started dating Bipasha Basu when they got together to shoot for their movie Alone a year after he separated from his second wife Jennifer Winget. Karan and Bipasha managed to keep their relationship under wraps even after ample PDA. their relationship only came to a confirmation when their marriage date was confirmed. Bipasha in an interview said "I love Karan because we are like twin souls - we believe in enjoying life like travelling and loving nature. Kahan leke jaogi ye sab - we Indian tend to live like robots, save and die and so are unable to enjoy the money we have earned. It's about the choices you make in life,"

On the topic of marriage Bipasha stated "Well, I believed in marriage, but I never thought I would get married. So when he proposed, my first reaction was... ‘ what are you telling me?'" Karan quickly added to the story, "Let me complete the story for you. We were in Koh Samui, it was December 31 and the sky was lit with fireworks. I was carrying the ring with me and something told me that this is the right time. So while she was capturing the fireworks on video, I took the opportunity and gave her the ring.”

Before dating Karan Bipasha was with John Abraham for 10 years and Karan, on the other hand, has been divorced twice and both of them were sceptical of the new relationship. The good thing was that their relationship turned out good and Bips also said "Our relationship's key fundamental foundation is friendship. It's selfless and loving." The fact that Karan was twice divorced is something that Bipasha says doesn't stress her out much. "It didn't bother me and we spoke about it. I believe that everyone has a journey, and it is very easy for anyone to exclaim, ‘ Oh...this is his third marriage, nahin chalega... divorce ho jaayega.' I tell people that you have to be in someone's shoes to know their story and understand their journey. This world is full of cynics, and thankfully, I have never been cynical no matter what has happened in my life. I have always been a believer. And Karan is like that, too. I feel I am lucky, as I live only for love. And no man has given me more love and respect than Karan. I might not be looking for the same thing in marriage-like others do. I have my own checklist, and I have ticked my boxes accordingly. And I believe you can't judge anyone for their bad relationships. I have had bad relationships, and I could have been easily married twice. The relationship could have been as deep, but I didn't fall into the legality and that is the only difference. You can't condemn someone based on a piece of paper.”
