Actor Kishore’s Twitter Account Suspended

Actor Kishore, who recently played a significant part in Rishab Shetty's Kantara, has had his Twitter account suspended. Fans were curious as to why his account was suspended, even if the specific cause is still unknown. Some of them even requested Kishore's account be restored by tagging Twitter CEO Elon Musk.

Kishore was also featured in Ponniyin Selvan 1, Mani Ratnam's masterpiece from the previous year. In the second installment, he will once again play the same part. His account was suspended, but the cause is still unknown. When you go on his page, it says, 'Twitter suspends accounts that violate Twitter rules (sic)."

The reason for Kishore's account suspension has piqued the interest of his supporters. Others tweeted Elon Musk, while some called for his return to Twitter. A tweet read, “Dear @elonmusk, why is @actorkishore's account suspended? Please reinstate it.” A person also wrote, ‘What is this @elonmusk? So much for free speech and questioning the authorities!" Another one tweeted, “@actorkishore’s account suspended? This is absolute cowardice on Twitter’s part. He is the voice of Karnataka’s farmers. Does anyone question the government get suspended? Shame. @elonmusk must look into this.”

In the movie Kantara, Kishore played a forest ranger who clashes with Rishab's character. They clash over the local tribe's encroachment on the forest. Kishore has been vocal about the religious practices the movie Kantara represents. In a lengthy Instagram post, Kishore addressed the criticism that the movie depicts superstitions.

“Does God, who has the power to kill, not have the power to transform? A viral video with the heading “A young man who insulted the God of Kantara dies a bloody death” went viral on WhatsApp. I believe that being a part of that movie it is my duty to clarify such misunderstandings,” he wrote.

“Why does a god who has the power to kill not have the power to transform an erring person instead of killing him? Because the story will not progress further for the narrator. For him, whether it is a god or a devil, is just a tool to achieve his goal of telling a story effectively, be it a movie or mythology. Whether it is God or Demon, why don’t we see it as just a belief? If you believe, it exists, if you don't, it doesn’t,” he explained.
