Mega Prince Varun Tej has recently begun shooting for his upcoming film which is being directed by debutant Kiran Korrapati. Tentatively titled as Boxer, this film features Naveen Chandra in a pivotal role. Naveen is a well-known face in Tollywood and is popular for his performances in films like Andala Rakshasi, Nenu Local and Evaru. Recently, Naveen acted as a street boxer in Dhanush's Pattas. Now, he is playing the role of a kickboxer in this film. He says that the viewers will go berserk when he and Varun Tej meet in the boxing ring.
In a recent interview, Naveen said that there will be a backstory for him and Varun Tej in the film, which adds drama when they meet again in the climax. The actor opined that the viewers will start celebrating during their climax battle. Naveen has already started training for this film. He is getting trained under Hyderabad based national-level boxer Srikanth Kshatriya. Currently, Naveen is waking up around 5.30 Am in the morning and does boxing training for at least two to three hours in the morning. He repeats the same in the evening followed by an hour of swimming. Naveen turned vegan about four months back and thus, his diet now includes broccoli, avocado, and kidney beans.
Naveen revealed that it took 45 days for him to achieve this desired look. Boxer is being produced by Allu Venkatesh and Siddhu Mudda. More details about the movie will come out shortly.
