Actor Prasanna lets out his anger on Tamil Nadu Electricity Board for charging him double in the latest bill

Popular Tamil actor Prasanna raised his voice against the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board. He said that the electricity bill at his home turned out to be more than double the usual amount. He asked if anyone is facing the similar issue. Soon, many people agreed with Prasanna. Immediately, the electricity board has responded to Prasanna's complaint.

Replying to Prasanna's tweet, TNEB wrote that he has not paid one month's bill and that is the reason why it got carry forwarded to the next billing cycle. Prasanna said that he could not pay the bill as the officials didn't take readings from his home. He also added that he never failed to pay the bills at the right time and used to clear dues within 10 days. Due to the lockdown, many people are facing surcharges in their electricity bills. As the government is not able to show transparent details, people are lashing out on social media. The same thing happened in the case of Prasanna.

On the acting front, Prasanna was last seen in the movie Mafia Chapter: 1. Directed by Karthick Naren, this film featured Arun Vijay in the other lead role. While Arun Vijay played the role of a cop, Prasanna donned the role of a drug-lord. He will be next seen in Thupparivalan 2. It is a sequel for the 2017 film of the same name. This film features Vishal as the lead, who is also directing and producing the project.
