Actress Roja undergoes two surgeries in Chennai

Actress and politician Roja has been busy with several campaigns for the upcoming Assembly Elections. Recently, the actress fell ill and had to get admitted to Chennai's Apollo Hospital, one of the leading hospitals in the city. It is said that she had to undergo two surgeries. Her husband and director Selvamani spoke to the media and said that she is recuperating well from the two surgeries. He also asked her fans and the party members not to worry about her health as she is on the road to recovery. According to Selvamani, Roja was in the intensive care unit after the surgeries.

After her vitals stabilised, she was shifted to the general ward. Selvamani also revealed that Roja will need some time to recover from the surgeries. Roja has been busy campaigning for the upcoming election in the Nagari constituency in the Chittoor district. Since she travelled for the Gram Panchayat and Municipal elections, she juddered from fatigue and illness because of which she had to get admitted to the hospital. Since Covid-19 cases are increasing, Selvamani said that fans or party members should not come to meet Roja under these circumstances.
