After testing positive for Coronavirus, Kanika Kapoor dismisses all rumours of partying in several hotels

After testing positive for Coronavirus today, the Bollywood singer talks Kanika Kapoor to AajTak to clear out her side of the story. The singer returned from London on 8th March and a few days later she showed symptoms of flu. Her father told the media channel that Kanika attended three parties after returning from London. However, the singer is denying all the claims and said that she just attended a small family gathering in Lucknow.

When the interviewer insisted her to name the people present at the party, the singer refused to name anyone. However, in the latest news coming in, politician Dushyant Singh was also present at the party. He came in touch with the singer at the gathering where she was present in Lucknow. After asking about further details, Kanika constantly stressed upon being an educated and aware citizen. She said, "I'm an educated citizen. I went to London to meet my children who are settled there. I go there every 2 months. After I returned to India, officials at the airport checked me and said that I'm absolutely fine to go home. I went directly to my house in London with my family. We are aware of self-quarantine that's why we did not come in much contact with each other. I did not party in several hotels like some of the reports suggests. I only attended a small family gathering in Lucknow where around 10-15 people were present."
