On the occasion of Abhishek Bachchan's 47th birthday on Sunday, wife and actress Aishwarya Rai uploaded an Instagram post late at night to wish him well. She posted a smiling picture of him, calling him "baby," and wished him with a short but sweet caption.

Amitabh Bachchan has previously posted about Abhishek's 47th birthday. Amitabh turned into a really proud father as poured his heart out about Abhishek. Amitabh posted on his blog about his accomplishments last year, “How time has flown by… going back in time all the memories of the day and the several days that kept giving us the joy and the pride and the pleasure of Abhishek... and now to see him achieve his worth through his hard word, quietly, and proving all the naysayers wrong! It is a delight for a father for his son but mostly for the son, who has through the dint of his hard word and perseverance shown the mettle of his calibre and his confidence...He took his own decisions... he made his own choices... defied the norm and proved it… with his success.” He stated that Abhishek "motivated" his Jaipur Pink Panthers to win the Kabaddi Championship. He also mentioned him the winning Best Actor award for his film Dasvi and topping the 'Mood Of The Nation' list. "A family pride... a father's pride," Amitabh wrote. Aside from a cameo in Ajay Devgn's Bholaa, Abhishek has two significant films in the works. He is currently working on R Balki's Ghoomer. Anand Pandit, the producer, has revealed the sequel to his 2021 film The Big Bull. And the producer assured Abhishek's return as the lead actor ahead of his birthday. "This film certainly will offer a worthy progression to the premise of a financial genius who once again goes too far," Anand remarked.
