Bollywood star hero Ajay Devgn has started 2020 on a bright note by scoring success with his latest film Tanhaji. This film has raked more than Rs. 150 crores at the box office till now and became the second highest-grossing film in Ajay's career. The actor is currently shooting for a guest role in RRR. He has joined the sets yesterday in Hyderabad.
Apart from this, Ajay is also acting in films like Bhuj: The Pride of India and Maidaan. All of these films are intense dramas and thus, the actor is now planning to sign a light-hearted comedy. Last year, Ajay scored a success with rom-com De De Pyaar De, which gave him confidence in experimenting with that genre.
According to the Bollywood reports, director Indra Kumar, who is best known for the Dhamaal franchise, has narrated a few scripts to Ajay recently. Apparently, the actor has okayed one of them and an official announcement regarding this project will be out soon.
This will be a fun entertainer with a social message, something on the line of Lage Raho Munnabhai. We also hear that young hero Siddharth Malhotra will play another key role in this film. Rakul Preet will be the heroine in it. Stay tuned for more updates on it.
