Ajay Devgn Wraps Up Drishyam 2 Shooting

On Sunday, Bollywood star Ajay Devgn finished production on his forthcoming mystery thriller film 'Drishyam 2.' The film, directed by Abhishek Pathak and starring Tabu, Ishita Dutta, Akshaye Khanna, Rajat Kapoor, and Shriya Saran, is planned to enter theatres on November 18, 2022.

The teaser for the film was recently released, and it received a great response from the audience. The directors revealed some clips from 'Drishyam' in the teaser, highlighting the fascinating story of Vijay Salgaonkar (played by Ajay Devgn) and his family. Ajay Devgn's character might be seen recording his confession at the end of the 1-minute 20-second teaser. The Hindi version, starring Ajay, was a remake of the 2013 Malayalam film of the same name, which starred Mohanlal. It was directed by Nishikant Kamat, a National Award winner who died in 2020 at the age of 50. In the blockbuster 2015 film 'Drishyam,' Ajay Devgn's character Vijay convinced everyone that their family had gone on vacation, which turned out to be a brilliant plot to spare his family from a murder conviction. In the sequel, Ajay will reprise one of his most intriguing characters and continue in Vijay's shoes. The plot unfolds a trip that leaves the spectator wondering what his way out might be this time. Meanwhile, Ajay will be featured in the forthcoming comedy film 'Thank God,' which will star Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh and will release in theatres on October 25, 2022. Aside from that, he has Boney Kapoor's sports period film 'Maidaan,' which will release on February 17, 2023. Tabu, on the other hand, will appear in 'Bholaa' alongside Ajay.
