Ajith Kumar is now on the set of his forthcoming film 'AK61,' directed by H Vinoth. The team was filming in Vizag, and the latest news is that the shooting schedule in Vizag is now complete. According to reports, the team will shortly depart for Hyderabad for the next round of filming.
The film is produced by Boney Kapoor and stars actress Manju Warrier as the female protagonist, with Ghibran providing the soundtrack. Ajith Kumar's combination sequences with Manju Warrier, the female protagonist, are scheduled to be shot during the Hyderabad schedule. Director-actor Samuthirakani had already announced his involvement in the project.
'AK61' also has key performances by Veera, Ajay, John Kokken, Samuthirakani, and Mahanadhi Shankar. This is Ajith's third film with director H Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor. While Ajith Kumar was clean-shaven in 'Valimai,' he will wear a long beard in 'AK61.'
The film's title is likely to be announced soon, along with a first-look poster, in the first week of September. 'AK 61' was supposed to be released this Diwali, but a delay in the filming process has pushed the release date back.
