Ajith's Movie Valimai's Pre-Release Business Stands At Rs 200 crore

Thala Ajith was last seen in director H Vinoth's Nerkonda Paarvai, which was released in theatres in 2019. Nerkonda Paarvai is the Tamil remake of the Hindi blockbuster film, Pink. Back in 2019, producer Boney Kapoor, director H Vinoth and Ajith teamed up for their second project titled Valimai. The film is tipped to be a cop drama with Ajith playing the role of an IPS officer. However, there has been no update regarding the film after the initial announcement. Ajith's fans are getting impatient as days pass by and are demanding Valimai update every day for nearly two years. Now, Valimai is getting ready for a grand release.

We had earlier reported that Valimai's shooting has been 90 percent completed except for a fight sequence. Reportedly, the makers are planning to shoot the film in India. Now, reports suggest that Boney Kapoor has sealed the pre-business release much before they could finalize the film's release date. According to reports, Valimai has earned Rs 200 crore from the satellite, streaming, and distribution rights. Valimai's pre-release business suggests that Ajith's stardom is going from strength to strength. Valimai is expected to release in theatres during Dussehra. However, an official release date is yet to be finalized.
