Ajith, who is fondly called Thala by his followers, will be turning 50 on Mary 1. This birthday is going to be extra special for him and his fans. For the past two years, Ajith hasn't had a single release and his fans are eagerly waiting to see him on the big screen. He has been working on his upcoming film Valimai for about two years now. The film, directed by H Vinoth, is produced by Boney Kapoor. Valimai was supposed to release in 2020. Due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, the film's shooting had to be postponed indefinitely. Since it has been two years, his fans have been screaming Valimai update for so long.

Today, Ajith's fans were in for a surprise because there was an update from Boney Kapoor. He revealed that the first look and the other promotions of Valimai will begin from May 1, which marks Ajith's 50th birthday.
