Akkineni Nagarjuna receives the COVID-19 vaccine

Nagarjuna took to his social media to share the news of him receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. He also shared a photo of him receiving the vaccine at the Star Hospital in Hyderabad. Nagarjuna encouraged all those who are eligible to get vaccinated.

 
"Got my #covaxin jab yesterday .. absolutely no downtime I urge whoever is eligible to take the vaccine!! You can now register for your #Covid19vaccine at http://cowin.gov.in Book your vaccine. and get it done! #Unite2FightCorona #VaccineVarta @MoHFW_India @BMGFIndia," wrote Nagarjuna.
 
Nagarjuna is currently promoting his film Wild Dog. The much-anticipated action-thriller hits the theatres on April 2nd. The trailer dropped a few days ago. Mega Star Chiranjeevi launched the trailer. Nagarjuna is essaying the role of a larger than life ruthless encounter specialist, Vijay Varma. Vijay Varma leads a team of NIA specialists to track down the culprits responsible for a bomb blast in Hyderabad. The trailer promises an action-packed thriller that also showcases Vijay Varma's side as a family man.
 
Wild Dog marks the first collaboration between director Ahishor Solomon and Nagarjuna. S. Niranjan Reddy and K. Anvesh Reddy are bankrolling the film under the banner of Matinee Entertainment. Apart from Nagarjuna, the film stars Saiyami in the lead role. Wild Dog also features Dia Mirza, Atul Kulkarni, and Ali Reza in supporting roles.
 
Meanwhile, Nagarjuna will appear in the Bollywood film Brahmastra alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Nagarjuna is also working on a film with director Praveen Sattaru.
