Akshay Kumar's Cameo in Bhaagmathie Remake?

Bhumi Pednekar is one of the happening heroines in the Bollywood film industry in recent times. Having made her debut as a lead heroine with the film Dum Laga Ke Aisa, she made a big name for herself in the movie industry with unique characters. Now, she is all set to play the lead role in the official remake of Bhaagmathiee starring Anushka Shetty. Ashok who directed the original turned the director for this project, marking his debut in Bollywood.

Titled Durgavathi, the film features Bhumi playing a civil servant. Also, she took great care and did homework with regard to the role she plays in the film. The makers began the shoot of the movie already in Bhopal and they want to finish it as soon as possible. The buzz from Bollywood reveals that Akshay Kumar who presents the film might now play a cameo in the movie. Akshay Kumar's role is not in the original and the makers created it for the Hindi version. Bhushan Kumar also presents the film along with Akshay Kumar. This is the first time that Bhumi tests her luck with the horror genre. The makers want the film to get completed in two months.
