Through the release of Sooryavanshi (2021) on Diwali last year, Akshay Kumar revitalized the film industry. He will debut Ram Setu this year during the Festival of Lights. Both the movie's subject and Akshay Kumar's involvement have created much buzz among the people.
According to the information obtained, Ram Setu has received a U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Although no scenes were deleted, the CBFC reviewing committee asked for some changes to the dialogue.
There were several dialogues that used the word "Ram," thus the writers were asked to substitute "Shri Ram." The word "Buddha" was also changed to "Lord Buddha" or "Bhagwan Buddha." The dialogue 'Shri Ram kaunse engineering college gaye the?' was then changed to "Yeh sab kaunse engineering college mein padhaya jaata hai?". The chanting of "Jai Shri Ram" was urged to stop during a gunfire scenario.
The CBFC members also requested that the opening disclaimer be lengthened and changed in a few specific ways so that viewers would have enough time to read it. Additionally, a disclaimer was included in a crucial sequence in the movie's second half. Last but not least, the edited list also notes that the film's creators have provided documentary sources for the dates and references to history that are made in the movie.
On Wednesday, October 19, the Ram Setu producers received the censor certificate after all these revisions had been made. The certificate specifies that the movie is 144 minutes long. In other terms, Ram Setu lasts for two hours and twenty-four minutes.
On October 25, the movie Ram Setu, which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushratt Bharuccha, will be released in theatres.
