The entire Bollywood flocked to this star wedding which was held as a grand celebration in Mumbai. Both of them got married after a long time of love. Both of them shared the happy news with their fans that they are going to be parents soon. This was last June. Now both are waiting for the first child.
Ever since Alia got married to Ranbir, the question that has been raised among fans is whether Alia will add Kapoor to her name. Now the actress herself has answered it. Alia has made it clear that she will change her name soon. The actor has said that her legal name will be Alia Bhatt Kapoor. The actor said this in an interview given to Mid-Day. Alia also said that even though actor-husband Ranbir Kapoor changed her marital status to 'married' in her passport, she did not get time to do so as she was busy with constant travel and work right after the wedding.
Alia said that she did not want to be isolated between the two Kapoors when the baby was born. 'I will change my name legally. I'm happy to do that. We are about to have a child now. I don't want to stand out as a Bhatt when the Kapoors travel together. I hope you understand what I mean. I don't want to be left out,' said Alia. Alia was in London shooting for her first Hollywood film Heart of Stone after her marriage. It was there that the actress informed her fans that she was going to become a mother. After completing the shooting of the film, the actor reached Mumbai. Later, Alia and Ranbir celebrated their baby moon in Italy.
