Alia Bhatt’s power-packed debut in TFI: Roped into RRR opposite Ram Charan
Telugu Film Industry is all set to welcome Bollywood sweetheart Alia Bhatt with SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’. Alia is roped into the prestigious project for the character of Seetha, Alluri Seetharamaraju(Ram Charan)’s the love interest. Reportedly, Alia has also hired a Telugu tutor and is taking Telugu lessons every day and the inside sources say that the actress is determined to also dub in her own voice for the film's Telugu version.
In an interview with a leading news channel, the ‘Gully Boy’ actress shared that Rajamouli is one of the dream filmmakers she always wanted to work with. “It is a challenge, yes, I can’t deny that. Telugu is a tough language to learn. But it’s a very expressive language. I want to understand the nuances of the language, why certain words are pronounced the way they are, and what they convey. Only then will I be able to express my character’s feelings,” said Alia.
With the news that British actress Daisy Edgar Jones, who was paired opposite Jr NTR is out of the project due to her family issues, Alia was speculated to take up the character. However, she is paired opposite Ram Charan. Known for her authentic portrayals of all her characters, seems like Alia now has a solid debut in Tollywood with RRR.
The Kalank actress is expected to join the RRR team in the coming weeks once Ram Charan recovers from his leg injury.
