“Allu Arjun Should Work With Me Soon And I Will Act With Another South Actor;” Says Akshay Kumar

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar says that there is no need to differentiate between South Indian cinema and North Indian cinema. Akshay Kumar said that everyone is part of the same film industry. Akshay Kumar also said that there should not be a divide rule situation in the country. Akshay Kumar said this in an interview related to the promotion of the film 'Samrat Prithviraj'.

Akshay Kumar was responding to a question on whether South Indian films are more successful than North Indian films at the box office.“Please stop creating the divide and rule kind of scenario in the country. There is nothing called south and north we all are one as an industry. Now, the time has come from across all the Industries to join and work together for a film for all the Indian audiences and Allu Arjun should work with me soon and I will act with another south actor. That is the way forward from now on;” said Akshay Kumar.

Earlier, Akshay Kumar had got trolled on social media. This was for his controversial statement regarding Indian history. Akshay said that history textbooks are filled with information on Mughal invaders, but don't talk about the glory and valor of kings like Prithviraj Chauhan and Maharana Pratap. Akshay has been trolled and asked to read NCERT textbooks by various social media users.

Akshay Kumar had said: “Unfortunately, our history textbooks only have 2-3 lines about Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan, but a lot has been mentioned about the invaders. There is hardly anything mentioned about our culture and our Maharajas. Nobody is there to write about it in our history books. I would like to appeal to the Education Minister to look into this matter and see if we can balance it. We should know about Mughals but know about our kings also, they were great too.”

Meanwhile, the movie 'Samrat Prithviraj' was released on June 3. Chandraprakash Dwivedi directs the film Samrat Prithviraj'. 'Samrat Prithviraj' revolves around the life of legendary warrior king Prithviraj Chauhan.

Akshay Kumar plays the role of Prithviraj Chauhan in the film. Samrat Prithviraj is also Manushi Chillar's first film. Manushi plays Prithviraj Chauhan's wife in the film.
