Amala Paul is all set to become a producer with Cadaver, her upcoming Malayalam film based on Kerala forensic surgeon B Umadathan’s experiences and the book Oru Police Surgeonate Ormakurippukal. Abhilash Pillai has written the script and he is also the director of the film.
Amala Paul recently finished shooting for Adho Andaa Parvaai and is almost finishing shoot for Aadai. Now, she turned down as a producer for her next venture.
Speaking about her next venture as producer, she said, “This is a film that cannot be shot at a shoestring budget, for it involves lots of factors. I felt it is my priority to support this film apart from being just an artist. I wanted to support my producers Pradeep Kumar and Ajay Panicker who were as passionate as I am about the script and the film. I am thankful to them for accommodating me as a co-producer.”
‘Cadaver’ means a dead human body used by medical students for research purpose. The film's shoot is expected to begin soon and the team will shoot in mortuaries and hospitals.
