Amitabh Bachchan refutes reports of him testing negative for the coronavirus with a tweet

Amitabh Bachchan has denied all rumours of him having tested negative for COVID-19. Earlier, several news reports were stating that Bachchan had tested negative for the coronavirus.

"This news is incorrect, irresponsible, fake and an incorrigible LIE!!" Amitabh Bachchan tweeted along with a video report. Currently, Amitabh, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya Bachchan are at the Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai.

Days ago, Big B had shared the news of him testing positive for the coronavirus with a social media post. Soon after that, his son and actor Abhishek Bachchan shared the news of their hospitalization. While the father-song was hospitalization, Aishwarya and Aaradhya were home quarantined as they showed mild symptoms. However, they too were hospitalization after they complained of breathlessness.

The Bachchan family has kept their fans and well-wishers updated about the developments. Hours after the reports of Amitabh having tested negative broke out, Big B made sure to dismiss the false news as soon as possible.

In a recent update, Big B spoke of confinement. He wrote, " As I sit beside myself in the confines of my solitudinous care .. thoughts rush through .. of the many that need attention and were never given .. of the millions that gave me so much admiration and whether I was able to give back in return ..”

Recently, Amitabh Bachchan's daughter Shweta Bachchan too wrote of 'absence' in her Instagram post. Shweta wrote, " “... absence is like the sky, spread over everything” - C.S Lewis," along with a picture of the sky.

After the many members of the family tested positive, the BMC sanitized their bungalows Janak, Jalsa, Pratiksha and Vatsa.
