He tries to stay in touch with his fans and entertains them with his quirky tweets. Earlier today, Amitabh Bachchan posted a photo of himself from the sets of his film Mahaan. He shared the picture on the occasion of the film celebrating 37 years of its release. This picture featured Amitabh sporting a swimwear. He said that it is his bikini picture which he posted to get more followers on Instagram.
In the picture, we can see Amitabh chilling at a swimming pool. He posted it as a three-picture collage, as he played a triple role in Mahaan. Amitabh captioned the picture, "Somebody was explaining to me why I was not getting the big numbers on Insta, unlike all the other youngGEN .. he said, “ because you can’t put up a pic in a bikini “ !!! And suddenly this one popped up .. not quite a bikini, it’s more ‘bhara hua kini’ .. from my film MAHAAN .. triple role .. and today 37th year of its release !!"
Mahaan had hit the theatres on the 29th of April in 1983. It was the first film in which Amitabh played a triple role. Before this, he has played a dual role in many films. Directed by S. Ramanathan, this film featured Waheeda Rahman, Parveen Babi and Zeenat Aman as the leading ladies. The film was an official remake of 1978 Kannada film Shankar Guru. It was a blockbuster at the box office.
