Telugu sitcom Amrutham, created by Gunnam Gangaraju, is one such serial. This weekly serial has aired for more than six years. A total of 313 episodes with a different concept in every episode, got aired in these six years. Amrutham enjoys a massive following among the Telugu audience. Even though has been more than a decade since it got concluded, the episodes still garner millions of views on Youtube.
The fans of Amrutham have asked Gangaraju millions of times to restart the show. He said that they ran out of ideas to make an episodic series and thus, A few years ago, he made the film Chandamamalo Amrutham but it couldn't do well. The viewers wanted a sitcom and not a movie.
We now hear that Gangaraju started penning for the sequel of Amrutham now. Apparently, this sequel will get aired in 2020. The Amrutham fans are extremely elated with the news and are eagerly waiting to watch the sequel of the iconic TV show. More details about the show are still awaited.
