Android Kunjappan movie to be remade in Tamil as Google Kuttappan

Superhit Malayalam film Android Kunjappan Version 5.25, which released in 2019, became a huge hit in Kerala. The film was hailed for being cute and sweet. Directed by Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval, Android Kunjappan features Suraj Venjaramoodu, Soubin Dhdhir, and Sooraj Thelakkad. Post its release, Android Kunjappan was widely watched by people of other states on Amazon Prime Video. Now, after about two years, Android Kunjappan Version 5.25 will be remade in Tamil as Google Kuttappan. The film was launched today amid the media.

Ace director KS Ravikumar bagged the remake rights of the film and he will also double up as the producer. His erstwhile assistants Sabari and Saravanan, who worked with him for over 10 days, will helm this project. The film will feature Ex-Bigg Boss contestants Tharshan and Losliya in the lead roles. The supporting cast includes Yogi Babu, Manobala, and Maariappan. Google Kuttappan will go on floors on February 15 in Tenkasi and will go on in Chennai and Pollachi as well. The film will have music composed by Ghibran.
