The real success for any director is to get praised by another director whom he has been idolizing since his childhood. May filmmakers get overwhelmed when their inspiration appreciate their work. Happening director Anil Ravipudi experienced one such situation recently when his idol K. Raghavendra Rao appreciated his work for the recent blockbuster Sarileru Neekevvaru.
Starring Superstar Mahesh Babu in the lead role, this film released during the Sankranthi festive season and got declared as a blockbuster at the box office. It is still having a dream run at the theatres. Meanwhile, Raghavendra Rao, who has also watched the film, appreciated Anil and on top of that, interviewed the latter about the film.
This fun interview is now available on Youtube in which both the directors discussed a few interesting things about Sarileru Neekevvaru and whole films in general. Incidentally, Raghavendra Rao is the one who introduced Mahesh Babu as the hero and Anil is the one who directed the actor's latest film.
It was also heard that Anil is directing one segment in the anthology film which is being bankrolled by Raghavendra Rao. We still didn't get any official update about it though. Let's wait and see if the duo collaborates for the film or not.
