Annaatthe Will Bring Back Rajinikanth From The 90s, Says Khushbu

Director Siruthai Siva's upcoming film Annaatthe will feature Rajinikanth in a strong role. The film is produced on a huge scale by Sun Pictures. The rural entertainer features Nayanthara, Meena, Khusbhu, Keerthy Suresh, Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, and Soori in important roles. We had earlier reported that Annaatthe will have a grand release in theatres across the globe on November 4. This is Rajinikanth's first release this year. In a recent interview with The Hindu, Khushbu revealed that Annaatthe will be on the lines of Rajinikanth's super hit films, Annamalai, Arunachalam, Muthu, and Padayappa. She also added that Rajinikanth from the 90s will be back in Annaatthe.

Khusbhu refrained from sharing more details about her role in the film. She recalled the shooting memories and said that she and Meena were initially hesitant to speak to Rajinikanth during the shoot. However, Rajinikanth refused to go to the caravan and spoke to the two actresses. Khushbhu called Rajinikanth punctual. She added that once Rajinikanth came five minutes late to the set and went on to apologize to everyone for delaying the shoot by five minutes. Reportedly, Meena and Khushbu will play Rajinikanth's sisters in the film while Keerthy will be seen as his step-sister.
