Anupam Kher shared his joy after meeting former Union Minister and Congress leader Dr. Karan Singh at the Delhi airport. Anupam uploaded a photo of the pair on Instagram. Anupam stood next to Dr. Singh in the photo, smiling at the camera.
Anupam wore a white shirt underneath a blue jacket and denims. He was also carrying a bag. Dr. Singh was dressed in a black suit with a cap. Anupam identified the site as the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport's T3 terminal.
He also wrote, "His asking me, 'Kaese ho Panditji (How are you Panditji)' made me happy! Nobody has addressed me like that! And then he casually added '92 years ka hogaya hoon (I am 92 years now)'. It was so inspirational! Especially when we are releasing Shiv Shastri Balboa with the similar theme of 'age is just a number!" He also added the hashtags – scholar, humbled, and respect.
Anupam will soon be seen in the upcoming family comedy Shiv Shastri Balboa, opposite Neena Gupta. The narrative of the film centers around its principal character Shiv Shastri, an Indian retiree and Rocky admirer. He relocates to the United States. He embarks on an unexpected road journey through the American heartland with Neena's character. In the journey, he learns that it is never too late to reinvent yourself.
Ajayan Venugopalan directs Shiv Shastri Balboa. It also stars Jugal Hansraj, Nargis Fakhri, and Sharib Hashmi in prominent parts. It will release in theatres on February 10.
