Anupama Parameswaran bags Ratsasan Telugu remake
Actress Anupama Parameswaran must be on cloud mince as her year started off with the success of her Kannada debut film Nata Sarvabhouma in which she started opposite leading star Puneeth Rajkumar.
It looks like her year just got better as she has signed a big film. Yes, she has been roped in to reprise Amala Paul’s role in the Telugu remake of Tamil superhit flick Ratsasan which had Vishnu Vishal as the hero.
A source told a leading daily, “Since Anupama hasn’t been portrayed in the role of a teacher so far, she believed that the role has something interesting to offer. Moreover, she loved the Tamil version and felt that it is a coming-of-age psychological thriller.”
Earlier, it has been reported that Raashi Khanna will be playing the female lead. The Telugu remake of Ratsasan has been announced recently and the shooting seems to have already begun. Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas has bagged the rights and will be playing Vishnu Vishal’s role in the remake.
Composer Ghibran, who scored the tunes for Ratsasan will be working on the Telugu version as well.
