Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has lauded actor Shah Rukh Khan, calling him 'the man with the strongest spine'. Anurag said in a new interview that Shah Rukh 'kept quiet through everything' and spoke about his work in his new film Pathaan. Anurag also stated that he is aware of what Shah Rukh teaches. Anurag stated that the audience is ecstatic about Pathaan, which he described as beautiful.
Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan's latest film, has been setting and breaking box office records. Pathaan earned 429 crores worldwide, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh. It made 265 crores in India and 164 crores abroad. Pathaan has received a huge response from viewers. And Shah Rukh's fans all over the world have warmly welcomed the actor back to his film after four years.
In an interview, Anurag said, "People are coming back to the cinema, and people are coming back and dancing on screen. People are euphoric about the movie. There is euphoria and this euphoria is beautiful. This euphoria was missing. This euphoria is also a socio-political euphoria, it is like making a statement."
"The man with the strongest spine, the most resilience and integrity who has kept quiet through everything, he has spoken. He has spoken onscreen with his work. It is beautiful. He spoke loudly on screen. I understand what he teaches, ‘Speak with your work, and don't talk unnecessarily'. He is who he is and you can see why," added Anurag.
Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand, stars Shah Rukh, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham in lead roles. Dimple Kapadia and Ashutosh Rana also play important roles in the action spy film, which will be released in theatres on January 25. One of the film's major highlights is actor Salman Khan's cameo as Tiger. Pathaan, which drew a massive audience response, earned 57 crore nett on its first day in India.
Almost Pyaar, Anurag's next project with DJ Mohabbat, features Vicky Kaushal, Alaya F, and Karan Mehta. It's billed as a romantic musical. The film will be released in theatres on February 3.
Shah Rukh has a number of projects in the works, including Atlee's action thriller Jawan. Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara also star in the film. The film will hit theatres in June of this year.
