Her latest film 'Nishabdam' will have a release simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil, with the latter version titled Silence. The film starring Anushka Shetty as the lead role alongside Madhavan, Anjali, Michael Madsen, Subbaraju, Shalini Pandey, and Srinivas Avasarala in supporting roles. The film's release got postponed from 31 January 2020 to 2 April 2020. Now, there is more delay indefinitely due to the 2019–20 corona virus pandemic. But the film business had not affected as expected it to be. As per the info, the film's digital rights are with Amazon for a whopping price of 27 Crores. This is a huge deal for any south film, that too with a female lead.
It is also heard that the makers are planning to release the film directly on OTT platforms as there is uncertainty for the release of the film due to the current pandemic situation. The film has become one of the most anticipated film of recent times. Directed by Hemanth Madhukar, the film is written and produced by senior writer, producer Venkat Kona.
