AR Rahman is easily one of the most well known Indian music composers around the world. Rahman has provided music and inspiration to both Bollywood and Hollywood films. However, unlike many other music composers, Rahman is rarely ever packed with work. Recently the singer revealed that he likes to focus much more on quality than on accepting too many projects all at once.
The music composer who last provided music for late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s film Dil Bechara says, “ I think I am pretty happy with the number of movies I am doing now. I work with people with whom I get a good vibe from. That is why I keep working with the same people again and again. I didn’t care to accept any other offers because you need to concentrate on quality.”
Rahman also commented about the role of awards for a music composer. He added saying, “ Awards are important but it is not the only destination. Music cannot be judged in one hearing and the intention of the music is much more than the creator. It is about how people take it. The joy of composing and performing is only limited by your physical health, nothing else.”
