Ever since the BJP-led Government of India decided to implement CAA and NRC in the country, it is receiving severe flak from the citizens. Most of the citizens felt that the implementation of CAA and NRC will affect the citizenship of Muslims. Even many film celebrities like Anurag Kashyap, Anubhav Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Richa Chadha, Kamal Haasan, and Swara Bhaskar have opposed this idea. But Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh director Sandeep Reddy Vanga stood by the side of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that he trusts Modi in the implementation of CAA and NRC.
"I TRUST MY PRIME MINISTER' is my answer to all the questions related to CAA, NRC and forcefully imposed imaginary fear related to my Muslim brothers living in our country. India is still equally a safe place for all religions. #iTRUSTMYPRIMEMINISTER," tweeted Vanga last night.
The director is now receiving a mixed response from the netizens. People who are pro-BJP are supporting Vanga and people who are opposing CAA are criticizing him. Some others have let go by saying that it is everyone's right to voice their opinion. We have to see if any film personalities come up with their opinions on the tweet that Sandeep Reddy posted. Also, there is a talk that the director has a soft corner for the ruling party from the beginning and he is an ardent follower of the Prime Minister of India.
On the career front, Sandeep has signed his next film with the producers of Kabir Singh. He is yet to finalize the cast of the project.
