Arun Vijay was last seen in Sinam this year. He is gearing up for his next feature, 'Borrder’. The film was supposed to release in October this year. A new release date has been announced now. The film will hit the screens on february 24th as per the update.
'Borrder' is directed by Arivazhagan Venkatachalam. It stars Arun Vijay, Regina Cassandra, Stefy Patel, Shan Sharif Khan, Chandrasekar Konery, and Bagavathi Perumal. The plot revolves around patriotism. It shows how a military officer leads an anti-terrorist operation.
The film was shot in Chennai, Agra, and Delhi. Arun Vijay plays Aravind Chandrashekar, a member of the Defence Intelligence Agency. Regina Cassandra is said to play a grey character in the film. This is the second film in which Regina Cassandra would appear in a negative role, following 'Chakra.'
'Borrder' will be a pan-Indian release. The multilingual film will be released in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu. Sam CS composed the soundtrack for the film. On the work front, Arun Vijay has a few projects in the works. It includes 'Boxer,' ‘Acham Enbathu Madamaiyada’ and a film with actor Madhavan. Arun Vijay's web series, Tamil Rockerz was released on the OTT platform SonyLIV from August 19. His latest film, Sinam, was released in September.
