Arun Vijay is back with a bang as main lead with the film Thadam. He is shot to fame with Gautham Vasudev Menon's Yennai Arindhaal, Arun Vijay played nemesis to Thala Ajith. Later on, he crossed the boundaries to star in Ramcharan's Bruce Lee The Fighter to play villain roles. He also tried his luck as the protagonist in a couple of movies but the films were not successful at the box office. He proved his capability with the movie Chekka Chivantha Vaanam directed by Maniratnam, stunned everyone in the role of Yathi. This movie marked a comeback for the director and also great relief to Arun Vijay.
His latest flick as main lead Thadam released and marching towards super hit. This murder mystery directed by Magizh Thirumeni who earlier worked by Arun Vijay for the movie Thadaiyara Thaakka also received accolades for the attempt. Tanya Hope playing the lady lead also includes the cast Vidya Pradeep, Smruthi Venkat in the supporting roles.
As per the update Thadam movie to be remade in Tollywood. Noted Telugu hero Ram to reprise the role of Arun Vijay in the Telugu remake of Thadam. This movie to be produced by Ram's uncle Sravanthi Ravi Kishore and Tagore Madhu jointly. The director who will be handling this remake still unknown. However official announcement from the makers will be out pretty soon. Ram currently working on the subject iSmart Shankar helmed by Puri Jagan.
