Akhil was born on 8th April 1994. In 1995, he made his debut with the film Sisindri. This Siva Nageshwara Rao directorial was a blockbuster at the box office. People fell in love with Akhil, who was just a few months old at that time. After that, Akhil appeared in a cameo in the 2014 super hit film Manam.
He made a full-fledged debut as a hero with the 2015 film Akhil. Directed by VV Vinayak, this film featured Sayyeshaa as the female lead. Although it released with heavy expectations, it flopped at the box office. Then, Akhil teamed up with Vikram K Kumar for his second film Hello. Despite the critical acclaim, Hello also flopped at the box office. To strike back hard at any cost, Akhil came up with Mr. Majnu in 2019. Even this film ended up as a disappointment for him.
