In the very same year, Oviya acted in other films like Manmadhan Ambu and Puthumukhangal. In 2011, Oviya made her Kannada debut with the film Kirataaka. Her performance in the 2012 film Marina brought her wide acclaim among the critics as well as the audiences. Then, Oviya's career started declining slowly.
