With her upcoming Netflix feature Darlings, Alia Bhatt is making the transition to producing. Alia fans were thrilled when the teaser was just revealed. As Shamshera was being promoted Ranbir Kapoor also supported his wife Alia's debut film Darlings. Ranbir continued, being the adoring husband that he is, by saying that he had seen the movie Darlings. It not only has Alia's support but also features her in the lead role alongside Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma, and Roshan Matthew. Also, the Shamshera actor endorsed Alia's movie and told everyone that it will be fantastic.

Ranbir Kapoor was asked if he has seen the Darlings teaser at the promotion for Shamshera. Ranbir excitedly said that he has seen both the teaser and the full movie in response. He added that Darlings is on par with what viewers would anticipate Alia Bhatt's movies to be like. Ranbir supported Alia's first production film and asked everyone to watch it whenever it became available on Netflix. Added Ranbir, "Maine Darlings film bhi dekhi hai. Bohot kamaal ki film hai. Jaise aap sab expect Karte ho Alia Bhatt ki filmein kaisi hoti hai, usi level pe, usi makaam pe hai. (I've watched Darlings. It is an amazing film. A Netflix release is planned for Alia's first production film with Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment. Alongside Alia, Shefali, Vijay Varma, and Roshan play the main parts. Jasmeet K Reen, a new director, is in charge of it. Recently, Darlings received acclaim from Karan Johar on social media. He also praised Alia for supporting Darlings while making her producing debut. On August 5, Darlings will be released.
