Ashika paired with Prajwal Devaraj in PC Shekhar’s Next

The year 2019 seems to be a busy one for Ashika Ranganath. With her last film, Rambo 2, with Sharan has a successful run at the box office, the actor has been bagging back-to-back projects. The latest project signed by the actor is a PC Shekhar’s upcoming film starring Prajwal Devaraj. She Replaces Rachita ram in this movie, who was considered earlier for this movie. The yet-to-be-titled film will feature Prajwal as a gangster, and Ashika as a doctor.

The director says Ashika won't be playing a run-of-the-mill character and her role will be a challenging one. With the lead cast set, the director’s next focus is on finalizing the technicians, the rest of the actors and the film’s title. The film will go on floors in July.

Ashika, who is currently busy shooting for Suni-directorial Avatara Purusha, was recently confirmed for Pavan Wadeyar’s Raymo, co-starring Ishan.
