Ashok Selvan To Romance Three Heroines In A Rom-Com

Ashok Selvan has joined hands with debut director CS Karthikeyan, who had assisted Kamal Haasan in Vishwaroopam and Vishwaroopam 2. The actor will romance three heroines in the film. Megha Akash, Karthika Muralidharan and Chandini Dhowdary will play the female leads in this film. According to the director, the film will chronicle the hero's life in three phases - school, college and post-college.

Speaking to The Times of India, Karthikeyan said, "The film will revolve around the school, college and post-college phases in the life of the protagonist. This is not a coming-of-age film, but a proper romcom.” The three leading ladies will appear in each of the phases, and Megha’s role will be a “surprise package.” I wanted an actor who is liked by everyone and who could pull off all the stages of the protagonist — school boy, college-goer and an out-of-college young man. And Ashok Selvan fit the bill. The role needed an actor who had a sense of humour, and Ashok has it in spades.” They play the hero’s friends and each one will appear in each of the stages of his life."
