With her debut in Hero (2015) with Tiger Shroff, and later Mubarakan (2017), Athiya Shetty is well on her way to becoming a mainstream Bollywood actress with Motichoor Chaknachoor. The script of the movie is unconventional and has the critically acclaimed Nawazuddin Siddiqui playing the protagonist. According to recent reports, the actress is in “awe of the script.”
In conversation with the media, Athiya Shetty stated that the story is about two people who have begun a journey together. This is the first time the actress will portray the role of a small-town girl and finds the story intriguing. She finds it challenging as it is different from the other roles she took up in the past. Mentioning her talented co-star, she mentioned how her own performance became better after observing his spontaneity. She believes acting is about reacting to your co-star. She had earlier refused the role for she was under confident about being able to pull it off.
However, the trailer is appreciated by its viewers and Athiya Shetty is glad to have chosen this role.
