Avengers: End Game opening day collections
Marked as the 22nd movie in Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avengers: End Game is now creating history with its first-day global collections. This phenomenal superhero film has collected $169 million i.e, Rs 1,186 crore on its first day of the release.
In accordance with the trade report by Variety, the collection includes a $107.5 million debut in China, an $8.4 million in South Korea, a $7 million in Australia, and a $6 million collection in France. In China which is said to be the world's second-largest movie-going market, the most-awaited movie has become China’s highest grossing foreign movie on the first day when it was released on Wednesday.
Not only this, but the movie has also set many other records marking the fastest film to hit the 500 million yuan mark in ticket sales in China on Wednesday with more than 80 per cent of screenings. The movie has also made its way in the grey market which for sold for more than 500 yuan ($74.14). On the ticket booking website, Book My Show, End Game marks the highest ever advance ticket sales for a Hollywood film. The franchise has sold 2.5 million tickets in advance sales. The film was released in almost 4600 theatres across the US and about 2000-3000 cinemas in India making more than $800 million globally in its first weekend itself.
