Theatres and Multiplexes across the country are now shut for more than a couple of weeks to ensure a drop in the Coronavirus cases. Bollywood has shut entirely and actors are forced to stay at home. Now actor Ayushmann Khurrana has expressed his concern over the future of Bollywood and theatres in the aftermath of the pandemic. The Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan actor said that everyone should think before going to a movie after the Coronavirus threat ends. Khurrana admitted that he misses going to movie sets and, "have some reading sessions, jam with directors, go out on locations."
"Our industry will take a hit for sure. People will think twice before going to theatres or to any public event," he added. Despite this, the actor firmly believes that we must stay positive even amid the global pandemic. He said that this is the only way we can get over the crisis.
The Bala actor recently took part in Akshay Kumar's initiative of Muskurayega India where various Bollywood celebrities come together to spread a positive message. In a separate post-Khurrana also thanked the Mumbai police and government for their tireless work amid the crisis. The actor also condemned the violence against many police workers and frontline workers fighting against Coronavirus in india.
On the work front Khurrana recently said that he wants to play the role of 'The Professor' if there is ever a remake of Netflix's Money Heist in india. He said, "I want to be the professor. That’s why I’m wearing similar glasses and playing Bella Ciao. I want to put this out in the universe. Hello reverent filmmakers, are you listening? Please! I’m dying to do something like this. I’m itching to go on sets and work, like each and every human on this planet. We all want to go out and work. But patience is a virtue they say. Till then Bella Ciao."
