Ayushmann Khurrana opens up about working with ex-co-stars

In the much-awaited 7 November release Bala, Ayushmann Khurrana is teaming up with Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar. The actor has worked in films with both the actresses before Bala. Both Ayushmann and Yami made their debut in acting with their role in Vicky Donor in 2012. Bhumi Pednekar also began her acting career with Ayushmann in Dum Laga Ke Haisha in 2015.

Ayushmann spoke about how it seems easy to work with the co-stars you have previously acted with but how it is exactly the opposite of that. His statement to TNN read: “The toughest part in situations like these is to get the fresh chemistry onscreen. It is important that the chemistry doesn’t remind the audience of the previous collaborations. Instead, it should look fresh as per the new characters and the story of the new film. For the unawares, Ayushmann knows Yami even before they teamed up for Vicky Donor. He says, “I have known Yami for a long time. I did my first internship with her father. I acted in a documentary, which was under her father direction. He heads a Punjabi channel in Chandigarh. Since then we have been family friends.”
