On his 54th birthday in March of this year, Aamir Khan announced his role in his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha. Eight months later he released his look from the film.
Sharing the poster, Aamir tweeted, “Sat Sri Akaal ji, myself Laal...Laal Singh Chaddha.??" Ayushmann replied to the tweet saying, “Wow. Your films are worth the wait sir. You inspire.”
Previously, during an #AskAayushmann session on Twitter, a fan told Ayushmann that she awaits his films after Aamir’s. To this Ayushmann replied, “I'm a huge fan of @aamir_khan sir's work and I'm always learning from him. He is one of the greatest icons of Indian cinema and he is a huge inspiration to me. I met him on the sets of dangal and was in awe of his simplicity and clarity of thought."
Ayushmann himself is achieving great heights with his recent release, Bala.
Laal Singh Chaddha also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and directed by Advait Chandan. It is the remake of Hollywood’s Forrest Gump (1994) starring Tom Hanks.
