Ayyappanum Koshiyum Remake in Telugu is back to square one: Check out the story for complete details

Sithara Entertainments grabbed the remake rights of two Malayalam hit films in recent times. One of them is Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Prithviraj Sukumaran and Biju Menon played the lead roles in the film. Sachy directed the movie. As soon as the remake rights for the Telugu version were sold, the producers initiated talks with big stars but no one showed interest. Finally, Raviteja and Rana Daggubati showed interest and the producers finalized Sagar Chandra as the director. But, it looks like the project is back to square one.

As of now, the media reports reveal that Sithara Entertainments called off the plan to remake the movie. The production house is said to have sold the remake rights of the movie to another big production house. The new producer wants to do it with stars who he is already in touch with. The change of director is also going to take place. Most likely, the film will take off next year and might release in the theatres by the end of next year.

In the middle of the crisis, these change of plans will affect the people involved. But, we have to see if the project takes off with the big stars or finally get shelved completely.
